March 2024 South Downs 1 Day Adventure

Are you ready for a peak experience adventure in March 2024? If so we have a great mini adventure ready for you to get involved in!

Mountain Rating:-

This is a single mountain day rating.

You should be able to walk at a pace of around 2.5 miles per hour for up to 12 miles (with a stop for a pub lunch in the middle!)

Price:-

£25 per person – payable in advance.

This excludes any food or drink.

Itinerary:-

Saturday 16th March

I am excited to announce I will be leading a single day hike that will see us take in between 9 and 11 miles.

We will be exploring the beautiful South Downs starting from Eastbourne.

This will be a great opportunity to take some time out, enjoy all that mother nature has to offer while connecting with like minded people and getting some miles in the legs!

We will complete one of two potential routes, depending on the weather.

Option one will be a cliff top walk with numerous hills and views of the sea.

The alternative option will be a wilderness walk taking in downland, bridle ways and forest trails.

Your enjoyment of the day is our primary goal!

The day will start at 9:30am and run until around 3/4pm with a table organised for refreshments in a local pub around the half way point!

Once the walk is done and for those who fancy it, we can head to the pub for a well done drink!

Weather and Routes:-

The weather can change rapidly when out hiking and so plans are subject to change should the weather dictate it may to be too dangerous or unpleasant to hike along certain routes.

In the event of such circumstances we have alternative routes as a back up to maximise your experience with us!
